The International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH-ICSSH 2024)

INTRODUCTION

The International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH-ICSSH) is an annual event co-hosted by University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (USSH, VNUHCM) and international partners. Since its inauguration, the conference has served as a hub for interactions between the University’s faculty members, graduate students and their counterparts in countries around the world on disciplines in social sciences and humanities. Past events attracted hundreds of participants from over 20 countries in Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania.

This year USSH-ICSSH 2024 is proudly co-organized by USSH, VNUHCM, Connecting Asia and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

We are inviting you to send your submissions to the conference. Selected papers will be presented at the conference.

Submissions within the discipline of social sciences and humanities are welcome. Topics of interest include but not limited to:

  – Higher education internationalization;

  – Emerging trends in the research, teaching and learning of social sciences and humanities in ASEAN and/or global context;

   – Technology and teaching in higher education settings;

   – Transnational/international academic mobility in ASEAN and/or global context;

   – Faculty/staff/student well-being in current higher education contexts;

   – International academic publishing: Extra-regional and ASEAN experiences;

   – Knowledge production in social sciences and humanities in the age of metrics and global rankings;

   – Local culture and ecology in the context of globalization in climate change;

   – Digital transformation and AI in the social sciences and humanities context;

   – Social innovation and entrepreneurship.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINE:

– The abstract should be 200 to 250 word in length;

– The full paper should not exceed 6000 words excluding references;

– It should be composed using a word processing software using Times New Roman, font size 13 with a maximum of five (05) keywords;

– Citations and References should follow APA 7th format. 

PUBLICATION IN PROCEEDINGS WITH ISBN

– Full papers will be double-blind reviewed;

– Qualified papers will be published in Proceedings with ISBN by Vietnam National University – HCM Press.

• Abstract submission deadline: 1st October 2024
• Acceptance Notification: 15th October 2024
• Conference date: 25th October 2024
• Full paper submission: 7th November 2024

• The University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, 10-12 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
• The venue is in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, making it accessible for participants to see major landmarks such as the Sai Gon Zoo, Ben Thanh Market, Notre Dame de Saigon Cathedral, Nguyen Hue Walking Street, and many other tourist attractions.
